What if we were to put people in touch who do not know one another, but would benefit from doing so? Probably not two historians, but rather a professional from that field and someone with whom the exchange could be mutually enriching. That’s the idea behind Dialogue, which is both remote and asynchronous in its organization. Each of the two contributors respond to our questions, before reacting to the other’s responses. If all proceeds well, in the end they would like to meet in person, and everyone will be convinced of the usefulness of bringing history out of the classroom!
